Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

This savory beef and broccoli stir-fry is a delightful blend of tender beef slices and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a rich, flavorful soy-ginger sauce. It's a quick and satisfying dish that makes for a perfect weeknight meal. The combination of textures and flavors is irresistible.
Feel free to substitute chicken or tofu for the beef if you prefer. Add a variety of vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for extra color and nutrition. If you're watching your sodium intake, you can use low-sodium soy sauce.
Serve this stir-fry over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal. It's an excellent choice for family dinners or casual gatherings. Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to two days.
How to Make It
-
1
Combine the soy sauce, water, cornstarch, and brown sugar in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
-
3
In the same skillet, add the remaining vegetable oil. Sauté the garlic and ginger for about 1 minute until fragrant.
-
4
Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
-
5
Return the beef to the skillet. Pour in the sauce mixture and stir well to coat the beef and broccoli evenly.
-

Add the oyster sauce and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
